Set in a typical small Costa Brava town, Pink House has 5 bedrooms and 4 bathrooms over 3 floors, with 4 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms on the ground floor, another en-suite bedroom on the first floor, and a chill-out terrace on the top floor, enjoying views of the Emporda countryside stretching out from the house located near the edge of the ancient village. It is one of the first houses we started working with 20 years ago, and it is still very popular with our clients, thanks to its superb location, character, timeless design, and affordability.
Just across the alley a door leads into a wooden decked solarium with a private swimming pool belonging to the house, with sun loungers, lounge mattresses, a dining table, and a second kitchen with barbecue – for poolside meals in the sun, or on barstools in the shade of the kitchen.
In the vicinity of the house, typically for the Emporda, are many medieval villages and towns, such as Tallada, Toroella, Albons, and more, all worth an exploration. On the coast nearby you will find the larger town of L’Escala with it’s restaurants, shops and beaches, and the beautiful village of Sant Martí d’Empúries, both less than 20 minutes by car. Sant Marti d’Empúries is a short walking distance from where the ancient Roman citadel of Emporion once stood, now Ruïnes d’Empúries.
The house was recently renovated in 2016, and is fully equipped for a comfortable stay.
