K5

K5 was the first hotel we wanted to see in Tokyo, and it delivered

About K5

Design, Design, Design. Built in what used to be a bank building in Tokyo’s old financial district, K5 has 20 rooms ranging from 20 to 80 square meters, with soft lighting, designer furniture, and turntable sound systems with vinyl collections in each room – curated by DJs who reside at the bar downstairs. The rooms are connected by corridors with exquisite carpentry, and fabulous colored glass panes from Shizuoka filtering the light coming from outside in beautiful shades.

The first floor and basement have the reception, the wine bar, cafe and restaurant, and the basement floor has the Brooklyn Brewery bar, buzzing with a local crowd and DJ sets in the evenings.

K5 is located less than a 5 minutes walk from Nihombashi metro station, and a 30 minute leisurely walk to the Imperial Palace. Tokyo train station is 15 minutes away, walking.
