20 minutes from the Costa Brava beaches, and near lovely Baix Emporda villages such as Rupia and Ullastret, Crema Empordanesa is a lovely intimate farmhouse that will make you feel immediately comfortable at home, and curious to venture into the superb Catalunian countryside.
The kitchen is designed as the heart of the house, with high-end appliances, and connecting to three dining areas – including an indoor dining room, an outdoor terrace, and a kitchen island, perfect for a fuss-free family breakfast or snack before hitting the road.
The garden has a nice little swimming pool, outdoor shower, full bathroom, olive trees, bbq area, and an outdoor kitchen with a dining and chill out area – for long leisurely hours spent outside, in a region that has perfect weather for much of the year.
The nearest beach, La Gola del Ter, is one of nicest and most pristine of the Costa Brava, and all around are mysterious and charming medieval villages and vibrant towns such as Begur, Pals, and Toroella, all with excellent local markets and shops.
The Emporda is very popular with cyclists, and the gentle rolling hills outside will beckon you to a lazy or sporty ride, in a region favored by many professional Tour teams.
But mostly, the area and immediate vicinity is peaceful and quite, the kind of serenity we look for, where time can fantastically stretch and bend to make beautiful family memories.
