About Us

Emporda to Algarve is a travel agency specialized in Spain and Portugal – cultivating relationships with hotels and country houses that go back to the early 2000s, when we made our first trips to Barcelona, Girona, and the Pyrenees. Since then, we gradually grew to cover all of Spain and Portugal – beginning in the elegant Emporda regions of Catalunya, and finally arriving in the marvelous beaches of the Algarve, Portugal.

Urban weekends, a country house for a family holiday, small hotels nestled in the mountains, cozy inner city apartments, nature trails and secluded beaches – we recommend places we’ve actually visited, taking notes and thinking about you.

The hotels: all carefully curated over years. The first offer we send will always be the most unique we have available, regardless of whether they first opened their doors this season, or have been with us forever.

The houses: after you finally managed to bring everyone together, we’re here to make sure it’s perfect. We take the greatest care to choose houses that are more than just a place to rest for the night – a faraway home you will always plan to return to.
