The Algarve East Golf Villas saved us a few years ago when a large group needed last minute alternative accommodation. Warmly recommended by our clients, we came for a visit the next summer and found an excellent golf resort, with a very high level of service and beautiful grounds.

The beautiful town of Tavira is increasingly popular for domestic Portuguese tourism, away from the more trodden resort concentrations of the Western Algarve. Sevilla, across the border in Spain, is only an hour and a half away, and it is the genuine capital of flamenco music and dance, thanks to it being the major city closest to Cadiz and Jerez where many of the musicians hail from (Camaron de la Isla, Paco de Lucia, Capullo de Jerez, to name a few).
As such, the East Algarve is an excellent destination to connect a trip to Andalucia with Southern Portugal, and enjoy two distinct flavors of the Southern Iberian lifestyle.
